Mgbobi... He went back to earlier copies? Well, then what copies would that be? Please give the documents that he did use and that were altered by the Catholic Church. There is a problem with your theory. The Catholic Church in 325 or so AD is was the only Christian Church at the time and it was the one that compiled the NT and the OT to give the world the bible. So to say that the Catholic church change it is...well wrong. Please review the history of the Bible. Those original manuscripts... well they were used again by the Catholic Church, because there wasn't another church...

Luther still had strong Catholic beliefs. He just didn't like some of them.

Are we talking about the cannon? I think that this is another discussion. In reference to the false believers post, I did not plan my words very well, I was trying to defend the idea of "church liberty" and I think there are a lot of different ways you could define this. I would define it as. The liberty of the believers in a church to leave a corrupt system of false teachers and immorality.
I believe this should be done in a respectful way. David treated Saul as God's anointed even though he was corrupt. Saul tried to kill David.

Keep your eyes open and you may see another reformation like you have never seen before. Reformation or great persecution or both.

Well this is a discussion on what Martin did. Do we want to pass that over and ignore the changes he made to Scripture to fit his personal beliefs? Do we ignore that? Do you really have the liberty to walk away from what Jesus taught, and go after what man wants Jesus to teach. That is what happen. That all started there....

I think Martin had more self-agenda motives then Godly.

It would help if you back your statement with some hard facts, otherwise the statement is useless.

I agree. Which one should we begin with?

"I think Martin had more self-agenda motives then Godly." How about this one?
