 | 634055 | May 18, 2007 6:41pm | Its not what we do, its not what we say, its not what we think - it is what we believe that makes us holy.
Yes, it is that simple. If we choose to deny our holiness (ie. deny that God has made us Holy through Jesus Christ) - then God allows us to do so - therefore giving us the appropriate consequences for our actions. But if we believe God has already made us Holy, similarily the appropriate consequences will happen.
Not only belief in him makes our Joy more full, not only are we allowed to see through all the coverings, not only can we say what we want, do what we want, see what we want. But we can also enjoy eternal communion with God whenever we want - because God allows it.
If we believe in him - then undoubetly we will be saved - whatever we situation in him, we will be saved.
Continously, I cannot see why people deny such a Good offer. The price was paid - with grief and ultimate suffering (by Jesus Christ) sin and the devil was defeated - now what only remains is - do we believe what is covering Gods blessings, or do we see through what covers Gods blessings and enjoy them.
We are righteous, not of our own will, but because God has made us righteous through his son Jesus Christ - besides, sinners cannot enter heaven because they are not righteous, and that is why God made us righteous, so that we could be with him as we once were.
I implore you to accept in every single way, that Jesus Christ has defeated all sin and Satan already. The more you come to this acceptance, the more you will enjoy life.
Realistically, if we look at what WE think, look at what WE do, look at what WE say - it is unholyness, every single sceric of it. Because God loved us, and wanted us to be with him, he sent his only son to bear ALL our sins, defeating what was ultimately the absence of good (satan and sin) therefore making us holy.
Regardless of what we do, say or think now, we cannot defile ourselves - we cannot defile what God has made pure. The only way we can wrong God (and what a terrible crime this is) - is reject this mans purity, his holyness, his gift (which he paid at a terrible price so that we may enjoy life with God again). God has made us pure, and we cannot make ourselves impure.
But, the only caution is - those who choose not to believe that God has made them pure - is the denial of the Holy Spirit. And that, is the most grevious of sins - I KNOW it is abosulte insantiy to reject something which has given us life, given us all the things which exist on earth.
If God finds the Spirit within (only the Spirit can testify that Jesus Christ died on the cross for us, hence making us holy) - because of the Spirit testifies of Jesus Christ - through Jesus Christ, we are allowed entry (because we are made righteous because he chose to shed his Holiness).
If you still do not believe you are already holy through Jesus Christ - then know this. God is holy. Satan cannot overcome him in any form, any way or any how - BECAUSE God made satan unholy (because of his actions, rebellion against God). Even one drip of that blood, one bit, one minute amount of Holiness in you - that cleanses you of everything. Holiness overcomes sin. Point blank. Full stop. There cannot be holyness where there is sin. There cannot be sin where there is holiness. Regardless of how much holyiness you believe you have, if you believe that Holyness came from God, regardless of how much you believe it came from God - you will enter at that gate - and have eternal life, eternal joy, eternal good - and will indeed meet God, and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. |

In the book of Lucifer, Follows up on the concept of "I am my own god" (I am HOLY) with a full explanation of the Satanic view of the world. This short essay states that as all gods are of human creation, worshipping an external god is to worship another human by proxy; therefore, the sensible, Satanic approach is to create your own god, namely yourself, and to "worship" this god. The result, of course, is to view oneself as the most important of all beings, and to adopt an unapologetic view of the world and course of action. |

Jhn 12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Here Jesus was speaking of his own death and the results of that death. But if we remember From Genesis the seed of the fruit produces "after its own kind." This means that Jesus expected to reproduce fruit just like himself. This He did. If one says we are not holy then he denys the work of Jesus. |

If something dead or diseased touched anything else, the death spread. That is until it touched Jesus and his blood. There is where death meet its match. I think that what was spiritual became a physical touchable thing accessible to all when the Blood of Jesus was poored out on the earth.
It became the substance that not only stopped the spread of death, but swallowed up death. Not only that, but when the blood of Jesus enters a Christian, it then empowers that believer (according to God's will) to overcome death in several methods. I.E. Healing sickness, driving out demons, spreading truth, shining light, healing hearts. Where as death contaminated and caused what it touched to assume some or all attributes of death, What Jesus touches takes on life attributes and life forever more. (interestingly, all effects of [first] death are actually only temporary due to the resurrection of the dead. while what Jesus does last forever!!!)
Here are some scriptures on this.
Isa 53:12 He poured out his life onto death (I saw the word "onto" only recently)
Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death.
And of course Romans 5:12-20 God bless |

| fireforchrist | Feb 17, 7:12pm | you mean "unto"?
Isaiah 53:12 (KJV) Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
I like the intersession part and if you really get to understand what that means that intersession of Jesus will be more valuable to you than gold.
Interesting to note that this is past tense and it was found to be written before Jesus ever came. bibleplaces.com/qumrancaves.htm [bibleplaces.com/qumrancaves.htm] |
